FlipSnack ebooks, catalogs and brochures are a lot of fun! It will be a pleasure for you to create them, and for readers to flip their pages. And if you own a Wix website, you will want to embed them into your website.

Some of you may notice a small issue when checking your embedded flipbook from a non-flash device: it won’t open in fullscreen.

We can help you fix this problem. Here’s the solution: After you copy the embed code provided by FlipSnack, you need to add a little piece of code to it: &openfsnewtab=true. This goes at the very end of the URL.

The embed code you’ll be using on Wix should look something like this:

<iframe src=”//cdn.flipsnack.com/widget/flipsnackwidget.html?hash=ftc3ecc1 &wmode=window&bgcolor=EEEEEE &t=13745466151374546422&openfsnewtab=true” width=”640″ height=”385″ seamless=”seamless” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″ allowtransparency=”true”></iframe>

Don’t forget to update the code and publish the page. Now your flipbook will open in fullscreen when people “click to read”.

See? There’s always a solution for your problems!

  1. trying this extra add in, my Flipsnack book still won’t open into it’s separate viewer. Is there some other code or trick to get a Google Apps site showing the Flipsnack book in all it’s full size beauty? Thanks for any help. B.

    • Hi Brook,
This article is a bit outdated. If your flipbook doesn’t open in full screen from your website, it’s possible that you didn’t tick the “allow fullscreen” box in Settings (in preview, on the left). Please contact us via chat if you need help
