As you all know by now, each month we select a few brochures, catalogs, magazines and lookbooks to be featured on our blog. The publications included in the Top flipbooks of the month are entirely editorial selections. What do they have in common? Just one thing: we like them and we think you will too. Anybody can use them for inspiration when making the designs for a new brochure or catalog.
We’ve asked each publisher to give us a short intro for their publication, and they kindly replied. You can read their descriptions below each image. They are listed in no specific order. Scroll down to see them all.

1. COVERED. Magazine
COVERED. is a popular local’s only Magazine based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia.
The stylish and on trend design of the magazine evokes the casual beach side lifestyle of Sydney whilst showcasing local businesses and characters that live amongst the little villages.

2. QL Hotels magazine
QL Hotels & Restaurants encompasses a delightful selection of more than 120 independent, small quality hotels in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Norway and The Dutch Antilles. Great food and warm hospitality are key. So it comes as no surprise that the chefs are all highly acclaimed.
The QL Magazine is issued twice a year; a spring/summer and an autumn/winter edition. The magazine features QL’s latest discoveries, takes you behind the scenes of the handpicked QL Hotels and is giving you the chance to win wonderful prizes such as a Zeppelin flight or a City Break in one of the QL Hotels. 3. Blackpepper – Hannahs catalog
Blackpepper is a New Zealand based ecommence agency that support the Hannahs website. Hannahs is New Zealand’s leading footwear retailer and have a wide readership of their store catalogue. Using Flipsnack we bring the paper catalogue to the digital customer. Being able to embed product links has made it even more successful.
4. GrandOptical – GoMag

6. Music and Research festival brochure
The Music and Research festival is a Dutch event at the Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg, one of the 28 institutes of Fontys University of Applied Sciences. At this festival we are inviting international guests from a variety of music disciplines who are both performers and researchers to give a presentation on their current work.
We are two students from the Academy of Art, Communication and Design who designed the corporate branding for the festival. We used Flipsnack to give the students a better experience of what the booklet is going to look like.
7. Saltwater creek photography brochure
Saltwater creek photography is run by Nicole Anderson, multi award winning family photographer who has turned the working family farm into an outdoor studio. Giving families a natural environment to have their treasured family photos taken.
I was in need of something that would show my clients what saltwater creek was all about – it needed to have information & and lots of beautiful images to tell this story. Flipsnack gave me the professional look I desired and versatility to customise my flipbook keeping it true to my brand, which was very important. I’ve had lots of positive feed back from clients , saying how they love all the information in one easy place to read. I believe that using flipsnack has taken my business to the next level , setting saltwater creek photography apart for the many other local photographers. 8. Kara Valdon portfolio
Kara Valdon is a recent graduate from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, earning a BA in Art & Design. Soon after graduation, in addition to working full-time, Kara and her boyfriend Matt launched their freelance graphic design company: Dog Ear Graphic Design. Kara heads the design and branding while Matt specializes in web design. The soft opening proved successful, attracting a handful of interesting and challenging projects.
In January 2016, Kara decided to begin her MFA in Graphic Design at The Academy of Art. She rightfully chose Flipsnack to present her portfolio to the admissions panel. She has been admitted to the college and will begin her MFA in June.
9. LEI magazine
Our magazine is a publication based in Hong Kong. It targets Japanese women, Hong Kongers and expat women who like the Japanese culture.
We first started to use Flipsnack for our sales materials because it makes us feel as if we are reading the actual magazine.
Now we link to it from our website to make it available for our readers too. We are planing to release a new issue in May, and also we plan to renew our website in July. We are very excited because the e-magazine in not only just for reading but you can do so many things with it. We are very excited to explore its potential!
10. Mary MacGill jewellery
Mary MacGill is an emerging jewelry designer based in New York and Block Island, RI, working primarily in gold, pearls, and semi-precious stones. Our Spring/Summer 2016 Lookbook features the Fine Collection, launched this year. Mary MacGill gathers inspiration on the Northeast shorelines to create simple hammered gold wire pieces adorned with tahitian pearls, one-of-a-kind moss aquamarine pebbles, and sharks teeth (gathered by her family). The Fine Collection retains an emphasis on sculptural, organic forms in line with Mary’s mentor Kazuko Oshima and sculptor Alexander Calder. Each piece is entirely handmade, and every stone selected for it’s unusual color and shape.
11. Orchestre Métropolitain brochure
For its 36th season, the Orchestre Métropolitain and its artistic director and principal conductor, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, placed the details of its 2016-2017 season under the theme Human Harmony.
For our brochure, we decided to take pictures of our soloists and musicians in a floating state. The idea behind it was to bring out the human quality in music and to show the last emotion after a musical moment.

We have been producing unforgettable designs since 1985 and work with major retailers and design houses.
