How to use Flipsnack tags

You must’ve heard that we’ve launched a new feature, tags. It’s very useful and unique, but you might need a little bit of help when you use it the first time, so here’s your guide:

  1. Find this feature in the content editor, under “Interaction”.
  2. Drag and drop it wherever you want it to be. The main purpose of tags is to allow readers to get more information about something without needing to turn the page or to leave the magazine. We recommend to use it over images, to highlight features or add context.
  3. There are 4 types of media you can associate with your tag: text, link, image and video. Since you’ll be using links for images and videos, you will add all of them by pasting a link. This means that you can’t link both an image and a video or a link to the same tag. For text, you have a separate box, so this will allow you to add texts and links.
  4. Check the preview, and if something doesn’t look right, fix it!

That’s it! Now go ahead and add some tags in your Flipsnack publications to make them even more interactive and captivating!
